HB2801 by Goldman (Relating to airport police forces and security vehicles, including the authority to commission peace officers and the rights, privileges, and duties of those officers.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Transportation Code to create a designation of "Airport Police Forces" and to make certain conforming changes relating to the designation of peace officers.

According to the Commission on Law Enforcement, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated.
