No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Medical Board, Board of Dental Examiners, Texas Board of Nursing, and Board of Pharmacy indicate that the provisions of the bill relating to the prescribing of controlled substances and dangerous drugs for acute pain could be absorbed using existing resources.
