No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the Texas Department of Transportation to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of Defense or other federal entity to allow TxDOT to assist in the provision of road services for military installations. The bill would stipulate that state funds may not be used to provide services under the agreement.
