HB2868 by Phelan (Relating to the procurement of interior design services by a governmental entity.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Government Code by adding interior design as a professional service.

The Military Department, Facilities Commission, Historical Commission, and Parks and Wildlife Department have indicated there would be no significant fiscal impact. These agencies anticipate any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed with current resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
