No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend portions of the Government Code relating to payment bonds from certain public work contractors.

The Facilities Commission, Military Department, Historical Commission, and Parks and Wildlife Department have indicated there would be no significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties and the Texas Municipal League, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
