IN RE:	HB2928 by King, Phil (relating to jurisdiction of contested probate proceedings in counties without a statutory probate court or county court at law exercising original probate jurisdiction.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Estates Code relating to the transfer of contested probate matters from a county court to an assigned statutory probate judge or to a district court. 

Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
 
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
