No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business & Commerce Code relating to a prohibition against covenants not to compete for certain low-wage employees. Based on information provided by the Office of the Attorney General and Office of Court Administration, this analysis assumes that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
