IN RE:
HB3068 by Kuempel (Relating to the use of certain license plates on classic motor vehicles and travel trailers, custom vehicles, street rods, and certain exhibition vehicles.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 504 of the Transportation Code to authorize a person who is eligible for Disabled Veteran (DV) license plates to use a set of previously issued embossed DV license plates on a classic vehicle or certain exhibition vehicles.
Based on LBB's analysis of information provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
