No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Legislative Budget Board to conduct a study on the long-term effects of regulating tuition rates and amounts charged by public institutions of higher education. Duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
