No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Estates Code and Government Code to allow a court to order an estate under probate to reimburse a county the salary and expenses related to a statutory probate court judge assigned to hear a contested matter in a probate case.
 
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
