No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would the Health and Safety Code to exempt certain entities in certain locations as defined in the bill from requirements that applications for alternative fueling facilities that would be publicly accessible be considered for funding under the program prior to other alternative fueling facilities. Based on information provided by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
