The bill would amend the Transportation Code related to authorizing an optional fee on vehicle registration in certain counties to include additional counties.

According to the Department of Motor Vehicles, the bill would have no fiscal impact to the agency.

The bill could have a positive revenue impact on counties to which it applies; however, the amount of this impact cannot be determined at this time.
