No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Based on analysis by the Secretary of State, it is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to ballot proposition language could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
Some counties have indicated that the provisions of the bill will result in increased election costs. However, it is assumed that these costs are absorbable and that there will be no significant fiscal implication to units of local government.
