The bill would amend the Property Code to require notice from a landlord to a prospective tenant regarding a dwelling that is located in a floodplain or that has been damaged by flooding due to rainfall. The bill would allow a tenant not provided this notice and who has suffered a loss from flooding due to rainfall to terminate the lease.
