No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Property Code relating to the dissemination of eviction case information and distinguishes between when a court is required to render an order of limited dissemination of eviction case information and when it has discretion. The bill requires the Texas Supreme Court to adopt the rules necessary to implement the provisions of the bill by January 1, 2020.
 
Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
 
The bill would take effect January 1, 2020.
