No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to the confidentiality of fine-only misdemeanors committed by a child. The bill would remove duplicate statutes and have no effect on existing law.
Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
