Based on analysis by the Secretary of State, it is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to uniform election dates could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated. However, Election Administrators from selected counties indicate the bill would have a significant fiscal impact on the election costs of school districts and cities.
