IN RE:
HB3693 by Geren (Relating to package store permits.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code as it relates to package store permits. The bill would require the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) to temporarily cease the issuance of package store permits and adopt certain rules and procedures. TABC estimates there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
