No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to expand an existing authorization for counties to provide training programs to fire fighters and fire prevention units to include all first responders as defined in the Government Code.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated.
