No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the creation of a work group to advise the Texas Workforce Commission regarding the Texas Rising Star Program. Based on the analysis of the Texas Workforce Commission, Office of the Governor, Health and Human Services Commission, and Texas Education Agency, it is assumed that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect on September 1, 2019. The bill provisions would expire on December 1, 2020.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
