HB4031 by Murr (Relating to fees charged to a school district by a water supply or sewer service corporation.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code to prohibit a sewer service corporation from charging a school district an impact fee or a fee to acquire water rights without entering into a contract with the district.

According to the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the bill would have no fiscal impact on the state.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
