The bill would amend the Government Code to authorize the board of a Hospital District to conduct a closed meeting to discuss certain specified topics. It clarifies that a governing board of a hospital district is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate information relating to a proposed expansion of an existing service or product line of the hospital district before publicly announcing the expansion.
