No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Education Code relating to an intercollegiate athletics fee at the University of North Texas at Dallas. The institution reports that assuming the fee were to be approved beginning in the 2020-2021 academic year, the fee would generate additional revenue in the amount of approximately $0.6 million per year beginning in fiscal year 2021.
