No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 2269 of the Government Code related to contracting and delivery procedures for construction projects. The bill would authorize a governmental entity to retain a program manager for assistance in the construction, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair of a facility or other public works project. The bill outlines certain duties, responsibilities, and restrictions of program managers.

Based on analysis of the Facilities Commission, Military Department, Parks and Wildlife Department, and Historical Commission, there would be no significant fiscal impact.
