IN RE:
HB4360 by Thompson, Ed (Relating to the review of permit applications for municipal solid waste facilities and the issuance of a notice of deficiency.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to issue a notice of deficiency following review of a permit application for municipal solid waste facilities that either omits or has incorrect information on the application, and require this information be provided by the applicant. Based on the analysis of TCEQ, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
