HB4365 by Toth (Relating to a study on the impact of psychotropic medications.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to conduct a study and submit a report with recommendations by October 1, 2020. The report would include the number of suicides of people who had been prescribed psychotropic medication and the length of psychotropic treatment of such people. It is assumed that the provisions of the bill could be implemented using existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
