No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The provisions of the bill relating to state occupational licensing of certain military service members, military veterans, and military spouses would have no significant fiscal impact according to the Texas Military Department, Department of License and Regulation, and Veterans Commission. Any increase in workload could be absorbed within existing resources.


 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
