IN RE:	HB4450 by González, Mary (Relating to the regulation of child-care facilities and registered family homes providing services to children with disabilities or special needs.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require a child-care facility or registered family home to report to the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) each suspension or expulsion of a child attending a facility or home. HHSC indicates that these provisions would require the agency to modify the CLASS, CLASSMate, and Public and Provider applications. LBB analysis of HHSC indicates that these activities can be completed within existing resources.
