HB4457 by Dominguez (Relating to the minimum number of county jailers necessary to staff a county jail.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to set a minimum staffing requirement at county jails and requires commissioners courts to provide sufficient funding for this requirement.

According to the Commission on Jail Standards, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact on counties.
