IN RE:
HB4464 by Gervin-Hawkins (Relating to a study on mold contamination in housing developments supported by financial assistance administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to use existing resources to conduct a study on mold contamination in certain housing developments.  The agency indicates it would use existing data to complete the study, and the costs to do so would not be significant.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
