No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to require a county, city, or independent school district that holds or provides election services for an election and maintains an Internet website to post on its public Internet website certain information about the results of those elections and to specify certain requirements for the location of the required information.
According to the Secretary of State, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact.The office would update advisory materials and certification procedures within existing resources.

According to the Texas Municipal League, the fiscal effect of the bill cannot be determined. It is unknown whether the provisions of the bill would require reprogramming to accomplish its requirement.
