No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code related to the Parks and Wildlife Commission's authority to designate wind-powered energy device construction areas near certain land. The bill takes effect immediately with a two-thirds vote, otherwise on September 1, 2019.
Based on analysis of the Parks and Wildlife Department, Military Department, and Office of the Attorney General, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the bill provisions could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
