No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require a joint study by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission on the optimum water level of Falcon Lake with details as provided in the bill to be produced no later than December 1, 2020. Based on the analysis of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and Parks and Wildlife Department, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
