No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Acts of the 59th Legislature, 1965, to expand the territory of the Gulf Coast Water Authority to include Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties and modifies certain powers and duties.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill would not have a fiscal impact on counties.
