No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would direct the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) to conduct a study regarding a parole officer's caseload. The bill would require TDCJ to submit a report to certain offices no later than September 1, 2020. TDCJ anticipates that any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.
