No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $177,289.

The proposed amendment to the Texas Constitution would allow for, but not require, distributions up to $600,000,000 to the Available School Fund from revenue derived during each fiscal year from land or properties of the Permanent School Fund.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
