No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Public Utility Commission anticipates that any work resulting from the bill would be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

Texas Electric Cooperatives believes the bill would have no fiscal impact to the state or local governments. The bill would adjust existing electric easements to allow cooperatives to provide broadband services to their members.
