IN RE:
SB41 by Zaffirini (relating to exemptions to reporting and list requirements for certain attorneys ad litem, guardians ad litem, amicus attorneys, mediators, and guardians.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code by adding to the list of exemptions to reporting and
list requirements for certain attorneys ad litem, guardians ad litem, amicus attorneys, or mediators
who are providing a service without expectation of compensation or for a nonprofit organization
that provides pro bono legal services for the indigent.

Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
