No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Property Code to extend an existing authorization to omit personal information from certain property records to additional classes of property records. The bill would also modify certain statutory definitions relating to certain judges.

According to the Department of Public Safety, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, counties have reported that they do not anticipate a significant fiscal impact from the bill.
