No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Agriculture Code to prohibit a political subdivision or certain property owners' associations from prohibiting an individual from raising or keeping six or few chickens on a single-family residential lot.

Local Government Impact

According to Kaufman County, Rockwall County and Travis County the bill would have no fiscal impact to their respective counties.
