No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize the Commissioners Court of a county to require submission of certain bids or proposals through electronic submission and remove an exiting requirement that hard copy bids be accepted.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated.
