The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize certain municipalities to propose a fire control, prevention, and emergency medical services district.
Local Government Impact
According to the City of Corinth, the bill would allow a ballot proposition to redistribute City sales tax to a Fire District. The estimated range of redistributed dollars would be $410,000 to $820,000 annually.
