IN RE:
SB237 by Nelson (Relating to the criteria for review by the Sunset Advisory Commission of an agency that licenses an occupation.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Government Code, Section 325 to require the Sunset Advisory Commission and its staff to determine whether the governing body of an occupational licensing agency under review has evaluated the type of personal information of license holders the agency should make available on the agency's website. If it is determined that the agency has not completed an evaluation as required by the bill, the Commission will recommend that the governing body of the agency conduct such an evaluation.
It is assumed that implementing the provisions of this bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
