SB251 by Bettencourt (Relating to courses offered jointly by public junior colleges and independent school districts.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize a public junior college to enter into an agreement with any school district located in a county in which the service area of the junior college is wholly or partly located or in a county adjacent to a county in which the service area is wholly or partly located to offer one or more courses. It is assumed that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
