No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize General Law municipalities to order an election to impose, amend, or repeal municipal term limits.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated if the election would be held on a uniform election date.
