No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require certain information on ballot propositions submitted for an election for a political subdivision to issue debt obligations.  Authorizes the Secretary of State to adopt a form for this purpose.

According to the Secretary of State, the bill would have no significant fiscal implication.  The agency  would revise advisory materials within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would have minimal fiscal impact on cities.
