No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to require certain annual financial reports from county child welfare boards to the Department of Family and Protective Services.

According to the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), there is no fiscal impact to the agency as a result of this bill.

Local Government Impact

According to DFPS, there may be a fiscal impact to local government agencies as a result of this bill.

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would have no fiscal impact on cities.

According to Bexar, Dallas and Green counties, the bill would have no fiscal impact to counties.
