No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based on analysis by the Office of the Attorney General, it is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to public information requests related to open meetings could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties and the Texas Municipal League, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
