No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Property Code to add certain massage establishments to a list of definitions related to prostitution and the trafficking of persons and to require that landlords allow tenants in multiunit commercial buildings where such activity is occurring to vacate a lease under certain conditions.
Local Government Impact
According to the Texas Low Income Housing Service, no significant fiscal impact to units of local government is anticipated.
