No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to change public notification requirements of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for rulemaking hearings. According to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
